In the letter to the Colossians, we learn that every believer is complete in Christ, but that doesn’t mean that we can sit back and coast through the Christian life. Receiving Christ is just the beginning. We need to be rooted, built up, and established in the faith so that we are not held captive by false philosophies and deceptive teachings.
