People love mysteries. We read books and watch movies to entertain ourselves with mysteries. Real life mysteries are even better. In the book of Ephesians, the Apostle Paul speaks of a real life mystery, but it is not something eerie or inscrutable. Rather, it is a truth that God has hidden in ages past but has now revealed to those who are in His family. Thus, this mystery is a sacred secret. It is unknown to all but God's children. Do you know what the secret is and why it is so profound?
Consider these questions as you reflect on the sermon and apply it to your life this week:
Are you a missionary or an imposter? Do you belong to Christ? Who are you proclaiming the Gospel to? What risks are you taking to ensure others hear the Gospel? What is the Mystery of Christ that has been kept hidden for ages and why was it hidden? How is the manifold wisdom of God being made known today? Is it being made knwon through you? How has this message challenged you? How do you need to respond?
Kids (K-4) have a great time in our kids ministry each Sunday morning as they learn about Jesus at their level, but we also encourage families to have special times to worship together. We believe in this so much that we have all our elementary (grades K-6) worship with adults on the 4th Sunday of each month.
Reminder: 5th & 6th graders stay in the service each Sunday through the beginning songs and then are encouraged to go to their class together.
This resource is a valuable tool to let you know what your kids learn at NewLife and how you can bring it home this week.

COMING UP @ NEWLIFE
This special open mic Thanksgiving service will give us the opportunity to share “out loud” with our NewLife family our gratefulness to God for His work in our lives.
It is also the 4th Sunday so K-6 students will stay throughout the service.
The NewLife office will be open during Christmas in the Village, the annual downtown CW holiday event. We will be serving cider and cookies on the porch and offering tours to anyone who would like to learn more about NewLife.
If you can contribute 2 dozen cookies for this event, EMAIL STEPH JAMES, email@example.com.
Join with others to participate in the Canal Winchester Holiday Lights Parade! NewLife is registered to have a float in the parade!
Want to be part of the fun? Help decorate the float? Maybe ride along in the parade? Great!
SIGN UP and someone will contact you soon about getting involved.
Let's come together this Christmas season for an evening of worship, fellowship, sharing, and dessert! We will also be voting on the 2020 budget. It's an event for the whole NewLife family.
If you have questions regarding the proposed budget, plan to stay after the service Sunday, Dec. 1. The elders will meet with those with questions in the Elementary gym.
