Imagine a friend lends you their brand new car for the entire year. He only asks that you to take good care of it. Now, what if you trashed it, never changed the oil, ignored the check engine light, and returned it dented and dirty? How would your friend feel? Scripture tells us that everything belongs to God. Therefore, all we have—our time, talents, money, possessions, and even our very lives—belongs to Him. The question we must ask ourselves is: Are we managing God’s resources well, or are we careless with what He has entrusted to us?
