Rules for Relationship (Exodus 12:43-13:16)

Why does a parent give detailed instructions to their children on how to ride a bike or drive a car? The answer should be obvious. They want them to be safe and to enjoy their time on the road. Similarly, God gave detailed instructions to His children about the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the Redemption of the Firstborn to help them stay safe and enjoy the blessings of being a part of God’s covenant family.
