In Malachi 2:10-16, the prophet shifts his focus from the unfaithfulness of the priests to the unfaithfulness of the people. In these seven verses, we learn that our vertical relationship with God is inexorably linked to our horizontal relationships with one another, especially the relationship between a husband and wife.
